Yelizaveta Orlova is a highly qualified chess instructor with over 15 years of experience coaching students ages 4 to 75 across Canada. Formerly ranked as the 4th top female chess player in Canada (2013), she brings extensive competitive insight to her teaching. Yelizaveta is also a bestselling chess author and a skilled graphic designer, sharing her passion for the game through educational content, creative chess-themed products, and strategic card games. Based in Kitchener, Ontario, she continues to inspire players of all levels.

As a National Chess Arbiter, Orlova has ensured fair and orderly tournaments, deepening her commitment to integrity, sportsmanship, and the growth of chess in Canada.

4th Highest Rated Woman in 2013

At 18, Orlova ranked as the 4th best woman in Canada before stepping away from competitive chess in 2014 to pursue new personal and professional goals while valuing the lessons the game taught her.
